I'm not really sure about this, but I would suspect that your customized
map is already saved. The Save Map As function is generally for making
a new map from the old map. What I am not clear on is why it is grayed out.
That could well be because of the Advanced Options as James says.
As far as I know there is no undo for map customization, so your changes
should be there, for better or worse.
And my advice is, you are better off with only one map anyway.

You are probably using the "limited options" GUI, which is how NetView is
installed on NT by default.
Go to the GUI and pull down "Options" and click "Advanced Menu". Then
you have to close the GUI and restart it, so that you get the full set of
options.
The bummer is that I don't know how to tell you to save your map without
having this already in place, which means that unless someone else knows of
a way, you will have to lose your customized map this time, and re-create
it when the GUI is restarted.

Hello,
I installed NTNetView6.0.2 on W2K and am completely new to it.
Just wanted to know how to save a self-created map (according to help :
File -
Save As - ..)
But when I select File the only options are Close & Exit. Did I missed
something?
Any suggestions?
Thx.
Geert
