Hi,
if you running the Framework and source the environment
(/etc/Tivoli/setup_env.sh) you get /usr/lib in the LIBPATH. That was the
problem i had yesterday. So if you don't need the Framwork - don't source
it. Also check /usr/OV/bin/NVenvironment - its there as well ;)

I've no experience with NV 7.1 yet.
In other situations I've put unset PATH and LIBPATH statements in a script
to start a CDE text editor from a NV menu.
