When a trap is generated using snmptrap on NV 5.1.3, Compaq TRU 64, DS10 and it is received on a Sun computer the IP address of the originator is in reverse order. Is there some configuration that must be done to get the address in the correct order? There are functions like htonl which make the conversion between host byte order and Internet network byte order so shouldn't programs like snmptrap use them?
