Hello Everyone. Currently running NetView 6.0.2 on AIX 4.3.3.10. Interfaces monitored 5,115 (4664 managed) Objects in the database 26,637 Running on a 4 processor IBM 7026 Model H70 w/ 2GB of memory. In the next year our company will be polling 20,000 to 30,000 more interfaces (5,000 remote frame routers, 5,000 - 10,000 switches, 5,000 NT servers). Are there any NV administrators currently monitoring a network of this size? How big of a system are you using? Are you using HACMP or HACMP-GEO? I'd appreciate any guidelines you could provide. Thanks very much. Ray Westphal |
