Don't hold your breath -

It's been promised by the end of the year.

Preliminary tests show that just as they did with AIX 4.1.5, 4.2.1, and 4.3, AIX has introduced major Motif bugs into AIX 5.1.  The same code which runs like a champ on 4.3.3 hangs and has socket problems on AIX 5.1.  Until these can be investigated and solved so that the events GUI updates reliably, no statement of support can be given.
