Don - we are in the same soup.

 

LNM if it is available, can't possibly be very useful at this stage of the game due to OS/2 being the platform

 

In our case, our rings are now VLAN'd into our core switch network so LNM would REALLY be of no value.

 

The best we do is use our Cisco probes on these rings.

How are you managing your Token-Ring environments?
Is IBM's Lan Network Manager for OS/2 still the only/best solution?
I have Cabletron MSAUs and customer no service from Cabletron.
What ever happened to Sallie Matlack? (Queen of token-ring)
Is there a solution that integrates with NetView? (since Nways is dead)
This is in a mission critical environment (connecting to a mainframe) that cannot be easily changed to another technology.
