It uses the port number defined in the tecint.conf file, which really depends on how the TEC server is configured. The standard port for this was 5529. If your TEC server is using portmapper to receive events (i.e., tecint.conf's ServerPort is set to zero), then I am thinking you will have to change both of them in order to go through a firewall.
