You do not need to load any MIBs to send traps from NetView to anywhere. I
have no idea what doc you say you are reading.
On NT you forward traps using the trapfrwd daemon. There are two config
files for him in \usr\ov\conf. One configures the forwarding and the other
the tracing, which is what you must run if you want to have a log of what
gets forwarded. This daemon is not enabled by default and after you
configure him then you must run "ovaddobj \usr\ov\lrf\trapdfrwd.lrf to
register him. Then he will ovstart and stop like the others.
On UNIX you forward traps by configuring trapd. See the man page and use
serversetup to make it happen.

Director
I have a customer that wants to send Netview alerts to IBM Director, I know
it is possible to send alerts from IBM Director to Netview but has anyone
done it the other way around. I have found some documentation to say it can
be done but I need to load a netview6000 MIB but I can not find this MIB
anywhere. Can anyone help?
