[nv-l] nvsniffer ?

Hello Everyone,
NV 7.1.2 on AIX 4.3.3.

This is probably another dumb question. 

Is it necessary for the nodes I test with nvsniffer to be managed nodes on
the NetView map? Many servers don't have SNMP and I don't add objects to the
map unless they support SNMP (!@oid 0 is in my netmon.seed file).
