AIX 4.3.3.10 and NetView 7.1.2
Are there logs that are updated with actions done by individual users logged
into the Web Console?
What I'm looking for is a log (or logs) that can be perused if management wants
to know who managed or unmanaged a node and when.
(like if someone unmanages a node to avoid receiving pages during an outage,
and then conveniently forgets to manage it again).
We'd like to be able to find out who the individual was who performed that
function.
I have looked in the /usr/OV/www/logs/<date>.request.log and the
netviewservlets.log. While they are full of interesting information and
can tell you who was logged in doing stuff, there isn't a clear "Joe unmanaged
xyz.node @ 06:00:03 AM Sunday morning".... type message.
Okay, it doesn't have to be "that" clear, but it'd be nice to have something to
look for.
