I'm just guessing here, but I would try demandpoll on both ends and see
what happens.
When you say it is isolated, I presume that means that there is no
(longer) a connection line showing.
Well, in order to draw a connection, NetView must know both ends of the
link and the only way he can do that is if he has SNMP access to both
ends. If you lose SNMP access (community name changes perhaps) then the
link will be removed.

Subject: [nv-l] Networks Isolated from the Router
Hi,
Have NetView 7.1.2 on Solaris 2.7
Modified location.conf file to change location of a Router from one
location to another location. Cleared and rebuild the topology database,
The is router showed all the networks on this Routers connected as
configured in location.conf, These Networks suddenly after 3 days are
shown
isolated from the Router but within the same location.
Has anybody faced such problem, if yes what is the reason for such
behavior
and what is the solution for this type of problems not to reoccur.
Regards,
Santosh
