You need the tool called xv.
You can find it at
http://www.bullfreeware.com/
and probably lots of other places. It
can capture screens and convert images
to different formats.

Netview 7.1.1 on AIX 4.3.3
How do I take map snapshots and save / convert them into JPEGs or bitmaps?
Netview map snapshot utility (ovmapsnap) will not work in this scenario. I
want to take some sample shots of my Netview maps and publish them on the
Intranet web site.
