It doesn't look like a NetView trap to me.
I suggest you start a trapd trace and see who sent it (the IP address will
be given in the trace).
You didn't mention whether you are using the NT product or the UNIX one,
which is always a good idea when you are asking for help.
To start the trace in UNIX you should first have trapd running with "-x"
option, which you can set in serversetup -- it's the "hex dump all
packets" option for trapd. Once trapd is running with that option you can
toggle the trace on and off at the command line using the command, "trapd
-T". If you are using NT, then you have to set up the trace outside of
the serversetup routine as there is no option for it. You would add "-t
\usr\OV\log\trad.trace" to the options trapd runs with. You could do that
by editing \usr\ov\conf\ovsuf directly, or doing it the documented way in
\usr\ov\lrf\trapd.lrf and then using first "ovdelobj
C:\usr\ov\lrf\trapd.lrf" command to remove the old trapd definition and
then "ovaddobj C:\usr\ov\lrf\trapd.lrf" to add the new one.
Hope this helps

Subject: [nv-l] Trap from 0.0.0.0
I am getting a trap with the source address as 0.0.0.0
"Node 0.0.0.0 is ReInitialized Due to power-on at 09/08/02_07:18:29 AM".
All my routers are having proper IP addresses configured.
What could be causing this kind of a trap.
Regards
Colin.
