Fawad,
Cisco's DFM traps are oem'd from SMARTS (1.3.6.1.4.1.733)
The agent sends ALL exception conditions as a Specific 4.
The agent sends ALL cleared conditions as a Specific 7.

The cleared condition messages are the EXACT same message as the exception messages.
The only difference is that the cleared traps are sent as specific 7.
I had opened a problem with Cisco for this, but they say working as designed.

Nice work huh.........

Below is what I have configured in my trapd.conf

DFM_Notification {1.3.6.1.4.1.733} 6 4 A 2 0 "Performance Exception"
CW_DFM: $s $4 : $5 : $6 : $7
SDESC
This trap warns that an exception condition has occurred
EDESC

DFM_SeverityChange {1.3.6.1.4.1.733} 6 7 A 0 0 "Performance Exception"
CW_DFM: $s $4 : $5 : $6 : $7
SDESC
This trap clears the previous warning message.
The message sent appears to indicate a problem condition because the
exact same message is sent for the event as well as the cleared condition.
The only difference is that the warning is Specific 4 and the clear event
is this Specific 7

EDESC

Anyone has any idea where to find Trap definitions for Cisco's Device Fault
Monitoring (DFM) tool ?? I am only able to locate four such definitions (in
the DFM-MIB file) and I know there are many more somewhere.
