Jeffrey, I'm "going out on a limb", but, my guess is your download of the product ( a zip file of all the files that make up the image of the NetView cdrom) was to a Windows machine. Then you burned the image, but your software converted all the long file names to 8.3 names. You lost the long file names. So naturally it's a "broken" cdrom. I believe you need software that can format and burn an iso9660 cd with rock ridge extensions which allows long file names, which will allow you to build a good cdrom. Sorry, I don't know what package you need. Regards, Geo. George deSocio Tivoli Software, IBM Software Group
