Using Netview 7.1.2 under Linux I solved this kind of problem by restarting
the netviewd process. From the console run "ovstop netviewd", then run
"ovstart netviewd" and reopen the web based map.

Is there any way to get the graphical representation from the web based maps
to look like the console Custom based maps. On my web based maps all the
devices are lined up In rows left to right ...and the links between the
devices are totally unuseable because of this as well as any text associated
w/the links in console based maps does not show up in the web based
maps...is this normal ...thanks
