Read the 7.1 release notes about NETVIEWD on page 15. Running the
NetViewd daemon activates the mapping support without opening the GUI.
When netviewd is added to the startup file it will start when the other
service daemons start. It works the same way on Unix allowing for the
differences in host operating system.
