The message indicates that one of your SMUX peers is misconfigured.  It 
keeps trying to open the connection to the snmpd daemon and is not using 
the password (community name) you have coded for it here.  You need to 
edit /etc/snmpd.peers and change that.
Notice the two that NetView has, trapgend and mgragentd.  They have 
matching entries in snmpd.peers.  The community name/password they are 
supposed to use is nv6000.

Netview AIX 7.1.2 aix 4.3.3

Previously I stated that I keep getting an trap authentication error from 
my
netview/aix  host every couple of seconds which is still happening, ie. A
IBM Incorrect Community Name (authenticationFailure Trap)

Also in my snmpd.log file I get the following messages every two seconds

04/29/03 16:18:12 NOTICE: SMUX relation started with

04/29/03 16:18:12 NOTICE: SMUX packet from (127.0.0.1+45816+93933)
