Hi James,

thanks for reply.

There are no strange app-defaults, the .profiles are clean.

I've searched for nvevents.Commands in
/etc/...
/usr/...
/Tivoli/...
/stat/...
/home/...
and found nothing.

Martina

Are you sure that no one (root?) has an app-defaults file in their $HOME
directory? How about something to set it in their .profile?

Hi list,

I have the problem, that configured Automatic Actions in an Event
get startet a second time if nvevents is started.
You can see that, because they have different process ID's.

The xrdb shows that the nvevents is configured that way:
    >> xrdb -q | grep Comm
    nvevents.executeCommands: True

but in all places I could find the definition it was set on false:

   ./usr/OV/app-defaults/Nvevents:nvevents.executeCommands : False
   ./usr/OV/newconfig/IBMVA-RUN/Nvevents:nvevents.executeCommands : False
   ./usr/lpp/X11/lib/X11/app-defaults/Nvevents:nvevents.executeCommands :
False
   ./usr/OV.back.v7r1/app-defaults/Nvevents:nvevents.executeCommands :
False

Does anybody know this problem or can tell me how to configure a
dominating adjustment?

Thanks for any replies.
