I cannot answer your question, hopefully someone else will directly.
But I want to caution you about moving forward to an OS (AIX 5.2) that was
not the subject of the original
verification/integration test program for NetView Version 7.1.3.  Although
it has been subsequently
tested, it was not tested to the degree AIX 5.1 was.
Having said that, I urge you to evaluate operation, after upgrading a test
system to AIX 5.2,
to your satisfaction, before moving into "production".

Hello Everyone.
I'm preparing to upgrade to AIX 5.2 on my NetView servers.

Does anyone have recommendations or warnings about the SNMP configuration
file, /etc/snmpdv3.conf?
