The only issues I have seen so far with AIX 5.1 are:
* There is one extra AIX pre-requisite - you need to ensure that  
X11.compat.lib.X11R5 is installed
* If you use trapgend to access messages from the AIX error logger, some 
of the AIX error logger commands have extra limitations
I have not tried NetView with AIX 5.2 - I don't believe it is supported yet.
