And in this case, I think you should put your question to the nv-l list
anyway , as I have no idea what is supported by Compaq these days. Not my
area of expertise. Other users may be better able to help. However, if
Linux will run on that box, then why not duplicate the environment you
already have? If for some reason you cannot do that, the currently
supported environments for NetView are given in the 7.1.3 Release Notes.

Sorry, but my English is not good (I am Russian and at the Moment live in
Germany).
I have operating a old Server (now as Testsystem) with running Linux SuSE
7.3 and NetView 7.1.3.
We have bought a new Computer Compaq DL360G3.
What do you commend as a Operation System and as a supported NetView
Version?
Do you understand what I mean? What am I to installate so that is by both
- Compaq and IBM - supported?
