I contacted support and the white symbol on our LAN is being generated
incorrectly. The bug shows itself on a simple network without a router. The
problem is fixed in NV 7.1.2 under IY23153.

The workaround is to switch off RFI by using the option "-K 0" and this option
must precede "-P".

The symbol for one of our LANs is white.

I have no idea what caused the symbol to change to white but the current
situation is that most of the nodes underneath the symbol for that network are
green. There are also a couple of read symbols. The object associated with the
white symbol has a field isUnreachable set to TRUE in the object database.

How do we get the colour back to yellow for the compound status?

Does netmon cause the change to white and will it recover if left long enough?

Is it possible to change the value of isUnreachable in the database to FALSE
using a manual command? Maybe this will clear it.

Robin
