I don't know either--windows isn't my bag..but if it works go with
it.  :-)  It's probably a flag mask of some sort.   

Educated guesses based on experience with unix: the > and < may be
assumed to be comparisons for the threshold and rearm values.  The %
indicates if the rearm value is specified as an absolute value of the
measurement, or as a percentage of the threshold trigger value. I
think...

Interesting. I suspect this is due to carriage return/linefeed
reasons.  Those two editors handle those differently if memory serves.

Perhaps someone who knows the windows product better can lend further
assistance.  Failing that, I imagine your answer is a simple PMR with
Tivoli support away.
