NetView for Windows, and NetView for UNIX do not currently support IPv6 in any fashion. No announcement has been made as to when they might or what that support will look like. If you require further elaboration, you should contact your IBM marketing rep to sign a nondisclosure agreement with IBM so that you can talk to development about the issue. James Shanks Level 3 Support for Tivoli NetView for UNIX and Windows Tivoli Software / IBM Software Group
Hello, Where can I find published information about Tivoli NetView v7.1.x for Windows and its support of IPv6? Specifically I am looking for: 1) does it support IPv6, 2) if not, are there plans you can publish about when it will support IPv6, 3) and if you can cover it, what does support really mean? I realize these are very generic questions but it is the clearest way I can think of to ask them. Thanks, Richard Robak richard.robak@intel.com |
