Stephen,
I'm running Solaris 8, I've tried the -m option and that didn't seem to
solve the problem. It still places items in the 10 network. I'll try it
again.

you did not specify which platform your NetView is on.
With Windows, you specify the subnet mask with "-m"
For unix, you specify it behind the IP address.
When you specify the mask, it should put it into the proper subnet. In
your example, the mask should be 255.255.255.0
