Stan,

Do the devices have SNMP enabled on them?    Have you browsed the interface
table on the device to see if they have 255.0.0.0 set as the mask on their
interface?

You are using format:

echo "10.xx.yy.zz  hostname" |  loadhosts -a -m 255.255.255.0 -v

-v will give you verbose informtion.


For netmon, in the netmon.lrf it should be started with the -I  parameter
so that it manages networks added by the loadhosts command.   (see details
in Administrator's reference)
