Do you have HSRP implemented on the routers? I had the same result when we erroneously included the 'standby' ip address configured in DNS. When the address moved, NetView renamed the routers just like your example. The fix is to not have the 'standby' ip address in DNS at all. I am having an issue where one router takes the host name of the other and that second one has no host name only an IP address for the object name. Is there a way to correct this?
