Hi Swen,
I'm curious--what is your environment or application such that you
would benefit from forwarding NetView internal traps to another SNMP
manager?
I could possibly see a use for forwarding threshold exceeded traps
that come from the Data Collection and Thresholds tool to another
manager...but then wouldn't you just be using NetView as an MLM of
sorts? MLM's polling capabilities are more extensive than the regular
server, AFAIK.
Or, maybe you're on Linux where there is no MLM...or you're on AIX or
Solaris and want an MLM-like box that can actually deal with SNMPv2
traps?
