I had increased that interval to 64 hours .
I used that editor and I put (only after your first mail) my dhcp ranges.
thanks

Lucian,

First, go into Server Setup --> Discovery (tab).

By default (I think) you should see towards the bottom the ability to delete DHCP nodes when not responding. I think the default is 12 hours. Is that action checked to turn it on? Is that what you really want to do? Change this to what you want.

Second, how did you build your netmon seed file? Did you use the editor available from this screen? I would recommend using that to identify your DHCP ranges if you have not done that. My guess is that you already did.

sorry
it's netview 7.1.3 on windows 2k
I have lots of dhcp nodes, the dhcp lease is 15 days,
if one stations change the address (after 15 days) what's going on when
the station goes up again (and get another IP)
where can I specify dhcp ranges??
anyway some deleted nodes where up those days and just after they went
down netview deleted them...
