The Windows event browser reads the Jet or SQL Server database where the events are stored. You could purge that database. It's both that simple and that complex. You can do it outside of NetView if you have the tools, with a Jet database you need MS Access. As an alternative you can easily control what you see with filters -- by date would eliminate the old events while the new ones came in. You can also control how many events are stored in that db and how often it is purged with parms on trapd.
