FYI, be careful running sapack on your TMR/MN. Not only will it unpack the files located in the PKT file, but it will also run any installation scripts associated with the PKT file. That is why you have to set o_dispatch to something other than what oserv is using. If you caution on the safer side, you can copy sapack to your workstation and extract the files your looking for using the same procedure (less set o_dispatch, assuming your not running a MN from your workstation).

It's a little off subject - but here's your answer:
I can't take credit for this. I got it from my in-house Framework wizard.
Below is how to extract files from the CD using sapack.

Now, I have a question.......
Your tag-line translates to "GO THE UNTAMEABLE LIONS"
What does that mean? Something to do with Seigfried and Roy ?  :)

Problem

How to examine the contents of the "FILEx.PKT" file on the Installation CD.

Solution

The contents of "FILEx.PKT" can be extracted using "sapack". To get a copy of sapack and use it to extract the contents, perform the following steps.

NOTICE: The following are directions to extract the contents of FILE3.PKT:
1. Create a new directory in /tmp . For example, /tmp/pmr12345
2. Copy FILE3.PKT to /tmp/pmr12345
3. The sapack executable is in "$BINDIR/TAS/INSTALL/sapack" directory.
4. Copy sapack to "/tmp/pmr12345"
5. Set "o_dispatch" to some port not being used and export it as per the following:

o_dispatch=100
export o_dispatch

6. cd /tmp/pmr12345
7. "/sapack -Dinstall_progs=y -u /tmp/pmr12345/FILE3.PKT" unpacks the contents into the directory you are currently in (i.e. /tmp/pmr12345).
