In the event configuration panel, there is a button for "Do Not Forward
Trap / Forward Trap". Customise this on a per event basis if you want
to be selective. You also need to customise trapd (use serversetup) and
configure whether all TRAPs should be forwarded or just those you
customise in the Event Configuration panel. This is also where you
specify the destination for TRAP forwarding - ie your Enterprise Console
Manager.
