Brian,
You can check and see if the pid of ipmap is changing.
If so, it is probably coring. If that is the case, you
will need a fix, or to upgrade to a later version.

Brian,
That could be a number of things, what is the status of
the device in the database?

I am running Netview 7.1.1 on AIX. I have added a device (it is a
Contivity Extranet Switch) into Netview. Monitoring of the status of
this switch is done via a tunnel from on CES to the target one. In
testing it, the CES operators took the tunnel down, causing polls to
time out (as planned) but the color of the device icon on the netview
GUI (X11 and Web) did not change from Green.
Does anyone know why this may be? In xnmsnmpconf I have set the SNMP
status polling interval to 5 minutes.
Thanks,
Brian
