Are you certain that you installed NetView on the server with the "Server" option and not "Standalone"? I've seen experienced people make that mistake before. Does your Server Setup on the server have a client/server tab? James Shanks Level 3 Support for Tivoli NetView for UNIX and Windows Tivoli Software / IBM Software Group
I try to run tivoli netview console on a client machine and I receive: "Error: The netview Console cannot connect t othe netview server. Exiting the console." I have the netview account, the netview partition mapped on client machine.. I don't know where else to look at. any clue? thanks |
