Chris,
This is working as designed......with the zeros being dropped.
NetView has always dropped the last zero(s) in the Network IP.
In your example 10.212.0.0 would be displayed 10.212, even though  the mask is  255.255.255.0

If you are not seeing interconnections where you think you should be seeing them,  something else is wrong.
You should see a router in that subnet.
Did you cut/paste the router somewhere it doesn't belong?

Subject: [nv-l] networks with a 0 in them

Hello all,

I ahve a question.  networks with a 0 in them (ie 10.212.0.x) with a 255.255.255.0 subnet.   Netview creates a network called 10.212 but it is attached to nothing.  it just sits out there as a network even though there are devices  within the network and they are switches attached back to a router.  But there is no connection (line) drawn representing the connection.   ANy ideas?

Thanks
Chris Petrina
