Thank you for your help. Yes, the "Event Catagory" is set to "Status Events"
and all the events of the same type before and after the missing ones were
displayed.
Kind regards,

No, it is not possible to determine who cleared the events.
But all you have to do, if you suspect that is the case, is pull-down
Create--> Dynamic Workspace and open a new window with the same ruleset
(usually forwardall.rs), and if there are cleared events, they will
appear along with all the others in the new window. The clear only
applies to windows open at the time it was issued, so new windows are
not cleared. And you could always close the main event browser window
and reopen it again -- though you will lose all but the last 100 events.
Are you certain that these missing events are not defined as "Log Only"
in trapd.conf?

Subject
[nv-l] Cleared Events
Hi Group members,
We are running NetView 7.1.3 on UNIX. Yesterday it happened that some
Traps could be found in trapd.log but were not visible in the "Events
Display Application Main Workspace" at the same time. Since no Filter
was active I suspect that a User - who has the right to do it - cleared
these Traps for All Users. Is there a possibility to find out who
cleared the Traps (there are no entries in the user.log files) ?
Thank you for any help in advance.
Cordially,
Georg Gangl
