It is the same with the Netview enterprise.
Numbers 1000-1999 are reserved for customer use.

Hello All: 

I would like to create some custom events w/in NetView.  Does anyone
know what the events number-range that is set aside for doing this?  I
know with HP NNM the number customized (user-defined) events started at
1000.  Is it the same for NetView?
