Hi List, I installed "Tivoli NetView for Windows 7.1.4" Server + Client on one Machine, on another i installed the "Win 32 NetView for Windows Client" (not the Web Console). I used the "getservermap.bat" to copy the Map Databases from the Server onto the client (that works fine), but the client fails to startup. I sniffed the Netwotk Traffic and saw that the Client tries to open a File (c:\usr\ov\tmp\netmon_status.dat) that not exist. After that the Client says "NetView conosle can't connect to Server" and exits. I found no documentation about the "netmon_status.dat" file, does anyone know what that file is for ? and how i can get it ... Thx + Best Regards Tom |
