Ronnie, You need to read the docs. This is not something you want to try without being up to date on what is going on. This questions is covered in the docs. The "netview" database is where NetView stores the availability data. The ETL1 moves the data from the "netview" database to the Central Data Warehouse. So you must have the netview database for the ETL to work properly. Paul ronnie.ross@springs.com wrote: I have Tivoli data warehouse up and running. When I install NetView, it asked for the DB2 database name, ID, and password. The default database name is netview. However, I think Tivoli data warehouse name is something else. Do I change the name or go ahead and let it create "netview"? Ronnie Ross Network Engineer Springs Industries Phone:(803)286-3892 Pager:(803)872-3877 Ronnie.Ross@springs.com |
