NV7.1.3 in Win2K

I have about 150 routers that are connected to our central office across F/R links averaging 128K.  I'm certain the decision on the frequency to poll these routers would depend on the existing traffic on those lines, but I would like to hear anybody's suggestion as to whether or not it would be feasible to poll these on a 5 minute schedule.  We at this point do not "overwork" these lines.  What I am looking for is to make sure that there isn't a "glaring" reason why I shouldn't poll this many devices, each on a 5 minute polling schedule.
