I have about 150
routers that are connected to our central office across F/R links averaging
128K. I'm certain the decision on the frequency to poll these routers
would depend on the existing traffic on those lines, but I would like to hear
anybody's suggestion as to whether or not it would be feasible to poll these on
a 5 minute schedule. We at this point do not "overwork" these lines.
What I am looking for is to make sure that there isn't a "glaring" reason why I
shouldn't poll this many devices, each on a 5 minute polling
schedule.
