You might profitably spend some time examining the X resource files in /usr/OV/app-defaults, particularly OVw. In this case, you can eliminate the View Area where those icons are kept, and the buttons for the restarting the Navigation Tree and the Tool Bar, by changing the OVw file to say: OVw*viewAreaHasScrolled: False OVw*viewAreaHasControl: False This will give you that entire window for the map itself. While you are at it, you might also set *displayCopyRightWindow: False and get rid of the annoying copyright window that pops up on first start. I would experiment with these values by copying the OVw file to your $HOME directory and then doing xrdb -merge OVw to have the X processor merge them into his defaults. When you are satisfied, then you can copy the file back to /usr/OV/app-defaults for use by everyone. Hi All, Is there any way to tell Netview to do not remember the maps seen in the past?. We a have a map with lots of submaps and the fact that NV puts an icon for every submap visited does not help at all. B.
