Hi All:
We are running NV 7.1.4 FP2 on a Solaris 8 box.
We have set XXMAP to propagate other protocols status by changing the file
/usr/OV/registration/C/xxmap in the stanza:

Field 'XXMAP Protocol Status' {
Label "Should status be per-protocol only?";
EditPolicy Edit ;
DefaultValue True ;  --->> False
}

This was done to propagate SAP Vertex linked to IP Protocols.

Now that we are implementing APM's together with Servmon to replicate windows
functionality of service icons, we see that APM also propagates its to other
smarsets status. In other words if one service fails and the server has other
services also monitored by Servmon, all smartsets that have this server polled
will turn red no matter where the actual service polled by Servmon is running
or not.

I know it is a little difficult to explain the situation but I could not find
any better.
