Use this to figure out things like this:
xnmsnmpconf -resolve <name or address>
It will tell you what community string it intends to use, and will also list the 'SNMP ipAddress' of that node if it is a selection name.

No, it is not in the file - only localhost and the Netview hostname is
listed.
