Hi, I wish to monitor port status on a switch, and I was wondering if it would be possible to use an expression such as: alias: .1.3.6.1.4.1.x.x.x.(1-3) alias: .1.3.6.1.4.1.x.x.x.(5-9) to group a request for status of port 1to 3 an 5 to 9 on group of switch in "alias" (port 4 and others are not used for example). I tried some expressions but none of them worked.....I hope that I don't have to create one collection per parameter ie alias: .1.3.6.1.4.1.x.x.x.1 alias: .1.3.6.1.4.1.x.x.x.2 alias: .1.3.6.1.4.1.x.x.x.3 alias: .1.3.6.1.4.1.x.x.x.5 .....etc Please let me know if any of you know how to do that Thanks a lot Regards, Denis PEUZIAT Tivoli Netview Administrator System Management over SNMP Specialist IBM La Gaude External phone: 33-0492115807 Tie line: 36-5807 Fax: 33-0493247500 |
