Hi,

I installed McAfee on my AIX boxes recently (on orders from above...)
The product works well enough as far as it goes, but the scans have to
be scheduled - theres no on access ability so the malicious files will
be happy until the schedule kicks the scan off hence I am not altogether
sure as to its usefulness to protect the box itself from attack, but
then again it should detect malicious files stored on the AIX box that
may attack more vulnerable systems
