Tivoli Inventory does not
query the user-name out of the box.
My Inventory
expert tells me that you would have to create a custom MIF file for
that. My suggestion would be to write a script that would query LDAP for
user information. Any script that you create could be launched by
NetView.

Hi list,
I see there'a product called NIMCM for this integration. But
from what I
read it only allows to export network
information in Inventory database.
I'm looking for a
solution where I can right-click an object in a map and
can made an Inventory query (or at least to see the user assoc. with
that
computer, as naming convention does not suggest
where or who's computer
is).
do you know something about this?
