I'm just guessing here, but it's a fact that Suse 9 did not incorporate the changes that were made to the pdk shell as they were supposed to. This causes some NetView processes like serversetup to hang as well. If you haven't done so already. I'd recommend you install the pdksh from the NetView CDs. We do it as a matter of course.
