Well, I believe that the error indicates that netmon doesn't know what kind
of an interface type "209" is, which means his internal tables have to be
updated to allow for it. In the meantime, he'll treat it as the default
type, which should mean as ethernet.
On UNIX you can do this yourself in /usr/OV/conf/if_to_sym. But the folks
who port netmon to Windows seemed to have internalized that table, so I
don't know how you could modify it. Even on UNIX though, the if_to_sym we
ship only recognizes up to 106.
Just out of curiosity, what kind of a thing is a 209?
