If your refering to VLANing in ITSA then the answer is ITSA 1.3 does not support vlan ids > 1005.
This is due to the way certain Cisco devices handle vlan ids > 1005 when used with community
string indexing (CSI).  CSI is used with Cisco devices as a method of retrieving vlan information
via SNMP.

From my under stating this problem is dealt with in the next release of ITSA.  There currently is no patch available for 1.3.

I was told that there is a problem, but not what the issue was, with Netview handling vlans named over "1005". ! I could not find anything in the archives about this though.  Could someone shed some light on this and let me know if it's an issue or not (this is netview 7.1.4 fp 3).
TIA!
